Eva Lois Miracle age 85 of Gabbardtown Road, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at The Terrace in Berea.
Eva was born in Rockcastle County to the late Simon and Cora Ann Ellison Cupp. She had worked for Cowden’s in Stanford, sewed in a factory and was a homemaker and cared for her boys. She was a member of the Berea Church of God.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Calvin Miracle, and nine siblings, Charlie Cupp, Billy Cupp, Robert Cupp, Freddie Cupp, Roy Cupp, Marvin Cupp, Cecil Cupp, Bonnie McGeorge and Edna Kalice.
She is survived by her four children, Charles (Barbara) Miracle, Douglas (Julia Rosenburg) Miracle, David (Elaine) Miracle, and Thomas (Wanda) Miracle; one brother, Gary Cupp; one sister, Mildred Moore; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery in Rockcastle County. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
