Obituary for Leila Bratcher (VanWinkle)

Leila  Bratcher (VanWinkle)
Leila Bratcher, age 85 of Berea, KY, passed away August 31, 2016 at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster, KY. Born to Charles and Louise Cruise VanWinkle, Leila was a native of Jackson County. Leila was married to the late Raymond Bratcher and was a member of the Narrow Way Church of God in Jesus Name. For many years Leila delighted countless patrons of People’s/Sweet Betty’s Restaurant in Berea, where she cooked and baked her often requested meringue pies.
Leila was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Darrell J. Robinson, Raymond Bratcher Jr., and Frank Charles Bratcher.
She is survived by her daughters, Anna Louise (Jack) Clemons, and Brenda Taylor, both of Berea, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and a host of friends and church family.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Condolences can be left at www.lakesfuneralhome.com, Lakes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
