Claudia Hundley Wren, 80, of Fairview, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late Herman and Sue Ella Slone Hundley. She was a homemaker and farmer alongside her husband for many years. She was an active member of Fairview Baptist Church where she had been a Bible School teacher, Sunday School teacher and treasurer, and clerk to the church for many years.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Jerry Boyd Wren and one sister Chrystal Powell.
She is survived by her three loving daughters, Jerri Laine (Gary) Ramsey, Benita Susan (Lloyd) Jordison and Melora Rae (Galen) Baker; one sister, Daphne (Jerry) Baird; two grandsons, Erik Wren Jordison and Austin Lee Jordison.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Vaughn Rasor officiating. Burial will follow in the Wren Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Saturday at Lakes Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David Gilliam, John Gilliam, Luke Mullins, Rodney Mullins, Jeff Blair, Jonathan Poynter, Jeff Poynter and Joseph Clark. Honorary bearers will be the Sunshine Sunday School class.
