Obituary for Marion Ellis Kendrick

Marion Ellis Kendrick age 79 of Berea, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Marion was born in Garrard County to the late Henry Lee and Nola Sparks Kendrick. He is retired from Nacco, a US Army veteran and attended Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by several siblings, Wayne Kendrick, Lonnie W. Kendrick, Thelma Harold, Pauline Murray; infant siblings Arnold and Helen Kendrick.
He is survived by his wife Sonja Hughes Kendrick; two brothers Noel Lee (Ruby) Kendrick and Delmer (Maxcine) Kendrick; and an uncle Leonard Sparks. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Davis and Rev. Randy McPheron officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Chris Kendrick, Kevin Causey, David James, Josh Hobbs, Marty Hembree, Johnny Hill, Charlie Hill and Cody Powell.
