Lucy Ellen Miller
Lucy Ellen Miller age 65, wife of Oscar Miller, died Monday Jan. 16, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. Lucy was born in Rockcastle County Kentucky to Anna Miller Chasteen and the late Phillip Theodore Chasteen, she was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. Lucy was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Jessica Paige Cope and a brother Phillip Chasteen.
Lucy is survived by her husband Oscar Miller of Berea, her children: Ray (Crystal) Miller, and Bobbi Jo (Matt) Cope, her mother Anna Miller Chasteen, her siblings: Bill Chasteen, Betty Roland, Dave Chasteen, Mary (Steve) Hymer, Robin (Mark) Blair, and Sherry Chasteen, her grandchildren: Dallas Cope (Frannie Hensley), Chasity Cope (Rick Johnson), Jason Cope (Stacey Chasteen), Dominique Cope (Tim Crabtree), Raymond Chase Miller, Taylor Lynn Miller (Adam Brown), her great-grandchildren: William McElroy, Lucas McElroy, Justin Cope, Autumn Cope, Jacob Tyler Hensley Jr., Bentley Carter Brown, and Bailey, Brianna and Bubba Hensley.
Funeral services will be Friday Jan. 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Lakes Funeral Home, burial will be in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home. Online condolences at www.lakesfuneralhome.com.
