Obituary for Marsha Carroll Erwin (Platt)
Marsha Carroll Erwin, age 66, of Scaffold Cane Road in Berea, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
Marsha was born in South Carolina to the late Marshall L. and Marjorie Belle Platt. She was a retired CNA from Berea Hospital and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother Donald Albert Platt and her sister Barbara Belcher.
She is survived by her loving husband Gene Erwin; three children Gene Patrick (Crystal) Erwin, Amy Denise (Alan) Mayfield, and Eric Brian (Genevieve) Erwin; and eight grandchildren, Bailee Carroll Mayfield, Emily Elizabeth Erwin, Ashley Nicole Howard, Carlee Elaine Mayfield, Jacob Vincent Mayfield, Samuel Alan Mayfield, Zoe Madison Erwin, and Mya Allison Erwin.
Private services will be held at Lakes Funeral Home. Condolences for the family may be left at www.lakesfuneralhome.com
