Obituary for Jack I. Hale

Jack I.  Hale
Jack Hale, 86, of Berea, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Berea Health Care.
Jack was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late Robert and Myrtle Edith Thomas Hale. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and attended the Pilot Knob Baptist Church. He was a member of the Berea Masonic Lodge #617, where he had earned his 50-year member pin. He was also a member of the Oleika Shrine.
After he returned from service he went to school and worked as a body repair man, afterwards he began working for Delta Natural Gas company where he retired in 1995 after twenty-eight years of service.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother Robert Lee Hale and sister-in-law Lillian.
He is survived by his loving wife Anna for over 63 years; one brother Donnie (Ruby) Hale, one half-brother Kenny Hale and is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, March 24, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Lakes officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-9pm at the funeral home with Masonic services beginning at 7pm.
Pallbearers will be Paul Jones, Mike Robinson, Martin Ramsey, Jerry Powell, Randy Calico, and Sam Fothergill. Honorary bearers will be Bill West, Arthur Boggs, Kent Clark, Dr. Patrick Kelleher, and Raymond Harris.
