Obituary for Joyce Wallace (Helton)
Joyce Helton Wallace, age 83, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
Joyce was born in Sloans Valley, Kentucky to the late Everett and Maggie Toney Helton. She was a homemaker and member of the Galilee Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Lowell Edward Wallace and one brother Hugh Helton.
She is survived by her loving son Kevin Wallace, and his wife Vivian of Richmond, one sister Louise Pierce and two granddaughters Stacie Wallace and Sabrina Wallace.
Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Gordon and Bro. Lee Abney officiating. Burial will follow in the Sloans Valley Cemetery in Pulaski County. Visitation will be Saturday from 11am – 2pm at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be Ray Phillips, Larry Collins, Billy Welch, Clifford Casteel, Leon Smith and Johnny Wynn. Honorary bearers will be Junior and Janie Lake, Art and Loretta VanWinkle, Buddy and Nina Boykin, and Lavonda Phillips.
