Obituary for Lizzie Adams (Causey)
Lizzie Causey Adams, 90, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington.
Lizzie was born in Leslie County to the late C.B. and Mary Wells Causey. She was formerly employed by Parker Seal and was a farmer. She was a member of the holiness faith and formerly attended Cartersville Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband John Adams, one son Dallas Adams, and five brothers, Raymond, Herbert, Sam, Jim and Willie “Bill” Causey.
She is survived by her children Denver (Wilma) Adams, Della (Darrell) Lear, Stanley (Letha) Adams, and Donnie Adams; one brother John (Viney) Causey; two sisters Goldie Tudor and Mae Lamb; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Monday, August 28, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Cress officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 12pm until 1pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Scott Adams, Trenton Adams, Tucker Adams, Jared Hawley, Jimmy Shearer, and Anthony Bryant.
