Obituary for Dorothy Bernice Pope (Reasor)

Dorothy Bernice Pope age 99, passed away Sunday Sept. 17, 2017 at the Terrace Nursing Facility in Berea. Dorothy was born in Big Stone Gap Virginia to the late Charles Henderson Reasor and Hattie Slemp Reasor, she had also attended Silver Creek Baptist Church while living in Berea. Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children the late Elmo Robinette, and her second husband the late Orville Pope, and her siblings: Curtis, Edward, Milton, Eugene, Ralph, Velma, and Lorene. Dorothy is survived by her children: Robert E. Robinette, Sue Elizabeth Robinette Eager, and Charles Ronald Robinette, her brother John David Reasor and 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday Sept. 21, 2017 at 3 pm at the Pilot Knob Cemetery in Berea. Online condolences can be made at www.lakesfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Silver Creek Baptist Church PO Box 94 Berea KY 40403.
