Elizabeth Goodrich  Witt (Kindred)
Elizabeth Goodrich Witt, 94, of Berea, Kentucky, passed away December 24, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born on June 4, 1923 in Paint Lick, Kentucky, to the late Willie and Bernice Roberson Kindred. Elizabeth was a 1942 graduate of Kingston High School and had also graduated from Fugazzi Business College in Lexington. She retired as Assistant Cashier of Berea National Bank in 1988 after 38 years of service and had been a lifelong member of the Silver Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by: her husbands, Bill Goodrich and Bill Witt; one sister, Darlene Bowman; one brother, Billy Kindred; one step-son, Bill Witt, Jr.; and one son-in-law, Preston Gadd.

Elizabeth is survived by: two daughters, Mary Ann (Ford) Hampton and Vicki (Ken Clark) Harris; six grandchildren: Libby Workman, Billy (Heather) Gadd, Amanda (Chuck) Leger, James (Shamekia) Hampton, Nikki Hampton, and Cara (Dustin) Busler; 10 great grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Travis) Haley, Kyle Gadd, Hailee Gadd, Andrew Gadd, Liam Leger, Conner Hampton, Abigail Hampton, Kullen Hampton, Drake Mundy, and Emory Busler; two great-great grandchildren: Talon Haley and Cheyenne Haley; four nieces: Lori Miracle, Sue Kindred, Heidi Regan, and Cheryl Chasteen; one sister-in-law, Ruth Colville; ten step-children; numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, other family, and friends.

Funeral services for Elizabeth Witt will be held at Silver Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Rick Fulton and Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening, December 29, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Silver Creek Baptist Church. Those serving as pallbearers will be: Billy Gadd, Kyle Gadd, Chuck Leger, James Hampton, Travis Haley, and Joey Fothergill. Honorary pallbearers will be: Libby Workman, Amanda Leger, Kaitlyn Haley, Casey Bee, Larry Harris, Andy Workman, and the Berea National Bank Retired Ladies Group.
