Linda June (Rider) Anderson
Linda June (Rider) Anderson, 68, wife of the late Mark Henry Anderson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. Born February 14, 1949 in Kansas City, KS, she was the daughter of the late Charles Richard and Geraldine Lucille (Pappe) Rider. Linda graduated from Argentine High School in 1967. She and Mark married on April 4, 1975 at Chapel of the Veterans in Leavenworth, KS. Linda was a devoted wife and mother to their two children, Keith and Brooke. She believed in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and had a special fondness for Pastors Mark Sarver and Kenneth Felty, both of Berea, KY. For several years, she used her secretarial skills in the greater Kansas City area until she moved to Berea, KY in 2001. She enjoyed gatherings with family and close friends. In her later years - her special joys - the addition of her grandchildren. She is survived by son Keith Marlin Anderson (Kasandra Wright) of Kansas City, KS and Brooke Danesse (Anderson) King and her husband Johnny (Greg) of Berea, KY; 5 grandchildren: Ryan, Trinity, Kara’Lin, Anderson, and Ethan; two brothers, Dale G. Rider (Twila) of Independence, MO, and Bruce L. Rider (Joy) of Olathe, KS; 3 nieces and 1 nephew, and lifelong friend Carolyn Moffitt (Doug) of Overland Park, KS. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Larry Keith Rider. A celebration of life will be held in Berea and at a later time to be determined, a celebration of life will also be in the Kansas City area. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY.
