Janet Irene Palmer (Reed)
Janet Irene Palmer, 63, of Reed Road in Mount Vernon, passed away February 6, 2018 in Berea. She was born in Mount Vernon to the late Sam and Carrie Gilliam Reed. Janet had been a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Reed.
Janet is survived by her husband, Michael Palmer; three children: Crystal (Wally) Brown, Samantha (Kevin) Thacker, and Adam (Courtney) Reed; six grandchildren: Jadawn Powell, Kelsey Thacker, Carrie Thacker, Mary Thacker, Teagan Brown, and Evie Reed; one great granddaughter, Destiny Allen; and two brothers, Arnold (Sherlene) Reed and her twin brother, Jerry (Kathy) Reed.
Funeral services for Janet Irene Palmer will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the beginning of the service.
